Terms of service, in plain English
These terms cover your use of this site and the moving services 3 Gorillas Moving performs for Tucson, AZ and Southern Arizona. Writing them in plain English is a deliberate choice on our part. Ask us for a quote or book a job, and you’re taking on the terms spelled out here.
The written flat rate
Each binding estimate leaves our office on paper, with Renata’s signature or mine on it. Whatever that estimate says is what you’ll pay — the only exceptions are added inventory, an extra stop, or a date change once the truck is locked, and each of those gets re-quoted in writing before any new work starts. You won’t see creeping hourly charges or surprise fees that never appeared on the estimate you signed.
Calling off or moving the date
- 72 hours or more ahead of the date — your deposit comes back in full.
- 24 to 72 hours — we hold the deposit as a credit you can put toward any booking over the next 12 months.
- Inside 24 hours — deposit forfeited, since we turned away other jobs to hold your slot.
Liability and cargo coverage
Released-value coverage at $0.60 per pound per article is included on every job at no charge. Full-value protection is available on request, and we can write up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment for high-value loads — ask in advance. Claims carry a nine-month filing window.
Items we don’t move
By federal rule and common sense, we don’t transport loaded firearms, propane tanks, gasoline, fireworks, perishable food, live plants on interstate runs, or cash and jewelry. Set those aside and keep them with you.
Getting the truck in
At both ends it’s on you to see that the truck can get to the door — or to warn us ahead of time when it can’t, so we can line up a shuttle or a hand-carry. We plan around monsoon-season timing at no charge. Permit parking on downtown or historic-district blocks is your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Site use and governing law
The content on this site — service descriptions, area pages, pricing tables — is ours; please don’t republish it on a competitor’s site, though you’re welcome to link to any page. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
