I’m Marco Salazar, owner of 3 Gorillas Moving. Santa Cruz County is Arizona’s smallest, straight south of Tucson down I-19 to the border. Nogales is the seat, a busy port-of-entry city, with the master-planned hills of Rio Rico and the arts-and-wine village of Tubac along the Santa Cruz River. We’ve run the I-19 lane south since 2014.

Coverage across Santa Cruz County

Town What it is Typical move
Nogales Border port-of-entry city, hillside neighborhoods Homes and small commercial
Rio Rico Master-planned subdivisions in the river hills Family subdivision homes
Tubac Arts-and-wine village, adobe and custom homes Estate and specialty jobs

The I-19 drive is in the price. Nogales, Rio Rico, and Tubac are regular runs south — the drive time is written into a binding flat quote before we load, never tacked on at the curb. Hillside Nogales streets get scouted first.

Flat-rate basics

  • $155/hr for two movers, $205 for three, one-hour minimum, in writing.
  • Long-haul runs south get a separate binding flat quote for the drive.
  • Hillside and adobe access scouted ahead; specialty carries in-house.
  • Our own W-2 crew loads and unloads — no subcontracted driver.

We run long-distance service both directions on I-19. See the full service-areas map.

Flat-rate moving across Santa Cruz County

Two uniformed movers and the truck at $155/hr on the clock, or a signed Southern Arizona figure that folds the entire Santa Cruz County move onto a single sheet

Marco’s Tucson crew has run the Catalina Foothills hillside carries, the Marana and Oro Valley subdivisions, the gravel arroyo drives out in the county and the pinched downtown curb windows across Santa Cruz County more times than any of us can keep track of.

A note from Marco

I started 3 Gorillas Moving back in 2014 on one rule I have never bent: the number we put in writing is the number you pay — no curbside add-ons, ever. Every job rolls on our own trucks with a crew I hired and trained myself.

Whether it is a one-bedroom near downtown Tucson or a full house crossing Southern Arizona, you get the same crew and the same written flat rate every time. That steadiness is what keeps Tucson families handing our name to their neighbors.
